Join Stellar Descents for an unparalleled adventure on one of B.C.'s
finest rivers. A late addition to our roster, we are pleased to offer
a special trip down the Babine River. Near Smithers BC, this breathtaking
adventure takes us through one of B.C.'s most beautiful parks-Babine
River Provincial Park. From the snowpacked peaks and calm waters of
Nilkitkwa Lake, through the bountiful rapids and intimate canyons,
to the totems of Kispiox, this trip lacks nothing. The opportunity
for wildlife wiewing abounds at this time of year, and there is always
a chance to see a grizzly bear fishing for salmon while an eagle or
an osprey soars overhead. Take a side hike to an old native village,
relax by a waterfall, or if it's the exhilaration of rushing whitewater
that gets you going then you won't be disappointed because the Babine
has the best of everything. From technical boulder gardens, to pristine
canyons there is little this river doesn't have. From the culture
to the whitewater, everything about this trip is spectacular, making
this a particular Stellar Descent not to be missed.
