The Beaver River is our premier run! Pioneered by Stellar Descents
in 2002 this world class river offers the best whitewater in the Jasper
area. The Beaver River is one of the main tributaries ofthe Fraser
River. This remote valley in the Canadian Rockies offers a true wilderness
experience and glimpse of a historical past. Dropping at an average
of 57 feet per mile there is never a dull moment out on the river.
The Double Shot
You asked for more and we listened! The run on the Beaver is now a
Double shot. That's right, 2 trips for the
price of one! Experience Spindrift, Avalanche and other
class 2, 3 and 4 rapids twice. Departure times are at 10:00 a.m. and1:30
p.m. and total trip time is 3.5 hours. Trips depart from Tete Jaune
Lodge.
Since
you're going to get wet anyways, Stellar Descents operates rain or
shine.
Reservations
In
the peak seasons of July and August, we recommend making reservations
at least a week in advance. Though we usually have space, a reservation
