Stellar Descents strives for excellent customer service and the highest
standards of safety in order to provide the ultimate backcountry adventure.
Our company's vision is to share the beautiful backcountry of British
Columbia with our guest and to provide them an experience of a lifetime!
The
two founders of Stellar Descents met 12 years ago in an introductory
course for mountain sports. Since that time, they have skied, paddled
and explored all over Western North America together. During this
process, they have reached the pinnacle of professional certification
in the fields of ski, kayak, and raft guiding. The founders of Stellar
Descents are not only business partners, they are best friends.
During
the course of their adventures they discovered the pristine wilderness
of the Robson Valley. The Robson Valley combines the best the Rocky
Mountains and the Cariboo Mountains have to offer, just a short distance
from Jasper National Park. Though it is a bit off the beaten path,
the valley offers uparalleled wilderness and backcountry adventure
opportunities.......and that is precisely why we are here!
