Jim has been guiding rafts since 2007 and was a canoe guide for years before that time. He also holds a Bachelor of Tourism Management from Thompson Rivers University and is a Swiftwater Rescue Specialist with Rescue Canada. When he’s not rafting, Jim can be found rock climbing, snowboarding, operating snowcats and waiting for rafting season. As the owner and lead guide of Stellar Descents, Jim would like to invite you to experience the rivers of the Robson Valley with us.
Hello my name is Liam, I am 21 years old and from Jasper, Alberta. Ive been kayaking for five years, and been rafting for four years. This is my first year at stellar and I'm super exited to be a part of the team. In my free time I enjoy rock climbing and kayaking.
Jeremy has been guiding rafts for 7 years and this will be his first season with Stellar Descents. After studying Outdoor Adventure Leadership at Laurentian University, Jeremy made the move west in 2014, where he now lives year round, ski patrolling and raft guiding. His passion for exploring rivers has brought him from coast to coast in Canada, up to the Yukon and Northern BC, and down to the rivers of Patagonia. When Jeremy’s off the raft, he can easily be found kayaking, mountain biking, or flying a Cessna around.
Justin is a 4th year river guide & 3rd summer with Stellar Descents in the Mighty Fraser Valley! Justingrew up in Southern Ontario, camping, hiking and canoeing all summer long. He moved to Western Canada in 2012 to teach skiing and explore the endless mountains. Having graduated with an Adventure Guide Diploma from Thompson Rivers University, he now splits his time between the Watersport & Snowsport Industries. Spending years travelling Internationally within the global Adventure Tourism Industry, skiing and rafting in Japan, kayaking and surfing in Wales and so. When Justin is not on the river he is probably enjoying quiet mountain air around a campfire in the slow paced Robson Valley.

Rescue Canada Swiftwater Safety Rescue Technician (SRT 3) or Specialist (SRS)
